We lost one of our very best friends yesterday<\/p>\n
~ August 29, 2015 ~<\/p>\n
11:15 am<\/p>\n
his name was Buster<\/p>\n
~ * ~<\/p>\n
~<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
~<\/p>\n
~ * ~<\/p>\n
We rescued Buster when he was about 7 months old<\/p>\n
he was about 12 now<\/p>\n
that’s about 84 in doggy years<\/p>\n
but Buster stayed the same happy puppy he was born<\/p>\n
everyday of his life<\/p>\n
we called Buster Hoppity Hooper because he would dance and prance<\/p>\n
everyday every time when we came home<\/p>\n
and Puppy Bear<\/p>\n
because he looked like a 100 pound Baby Bear<\/p>\n
and when Buster wanted your attention \u00a0he would keep poking you with his nose<\/p>\n
and then dance and prance and talk with out barking in his very deep voice<\/p>\n
and sometimes snorted like Bull and then Howled<\/p>\n
if you tried to leave him alone<\/p>\n
~ while yesterday morning Buster was<\/p>\n
the very same happy healthy strong loving playful puppy dog he always was everyday<\/p>\n
and then his old heart starting giving out<\/p>\n
he was gone in just a few minutes maybe six<\/p>\n
as we were so very thankful for that ~<\/p>\n
as we were so thankful we were here when it happened<\/p>\n
so Buster was not alone<\/p>\n
I just got home from the Hardware store and picking up the news paper<\/p>\n
and saw Buster Breathing Hard at the top of the driveway<\/p>\n
like he always does<\/p>\n
after chasing a Bunny Rabbit or Treeing a Squirrel<\/p>\n
or after chasing<\/p>\n
Antelope, Deer, Elk<\/p>\n
or<\/p>\n
Nose to Nose<\/p>\n
with a Coyote as I have seen before<\/p>\n
or running from a Wolf<\/p>\n
being chased by Mountain Lion<\/p>\n
the Mountain Lion Killing the Wolf near our Yard<\/p>\n
while days later the Mountain Lion killing five wolves near the mail boxes<\/p>\n
while Buster only wanted to Play Hard<\/p>\n
Buster did not Hunt to Kill<\/p>\n
while the next thing I know<\/p>\n
Buster is coming through the doggy door to see us as his heart was giving out<\/p>\n
then fell to the floor as we new it was his time<\/p>\n
and with out making a sound while breathing very hard<\/p>\n
Buster then got up one last time and went back to the doggy door<\/p>\n
so I helped him out so he could be out side one last time at one of his favorite spots<\/p>\n
as he laid down one last time outside the back door<\/p>\n
as we could see in his eyes as he looked in our eyes the life he shared with us<\/p>\n
then we covered Buster with a beach towel<\/p>\n
then as be prepared Busters Burial<\/p>\n
Hemi came over and lied next to Buster then Nitro too as we Buried Buster<\/p>\n

Buster lived to be outdoors<\/p>\n
we called him the Weather Dog too<\/p>\n
as he always sat outside watching all the weather storms coming and going of all kinds<\/p>\n
Buster would sit in the Rain watching the Lighting<\/p>\n
and in the falling snow facing the storm with his ears floppy in the wind<\/p>\n
as he sat so proud to be alive<\/p>\n
while Hemi and Nitro would run and hide somewhere in the house<\/p>\n

Buster did nothing but love<\/p>\n
while teaching us how<\/p>\n
Buster will never be gone<\/p>\n
he will always be in our souls<\/p>\n
always reminding us how to love<\/p>\n
and to be so proud to be so happy to be alive<\/p>\n

~ until Buster came along ~<\/p>\n
I never thought I could love and learn so much from a Dog ~<\/p>\n
~<\/p>\n
Oh Buster Dog<\/p>\n
you lived in the wild<\/p>\n
while being so loving and tame<\/p>\n
as you are with us now and always<\/p>\n
as the world is now more quite<\/p>\n
now that you are here and gone<\/p>\n
while you showed us how to live and love and still be strong<\/p>\n
without hurting a soul<\/p>\n
as I can see your Doggy Best Friends<\/p>\n
they miss you Buster so very much too<\/p>\n
